Child Protection Legislative Reform: feedback to shape reform direction
After a four month consultation period that included six stakeholder events, media activity, face-to-face consultations and roundtable discussions, as well as hundreds of letters, Community Services received 231 submissions in response to the proposed child protection legislative reforms. The submissions came from child protection and adoption organisations, carers, parents, Community Services staff, government and non-government agencies, the legal fraternity, children and young people, and the public.
