FamS is managed by a Board which meets five times a year. An Executive made up of members of the Board meets more regularly via teleconference. Committees and working parties are convened for specific purposes, and a Regional Reps’ Forum is held three or four times a year.

Tamworth Family Support Service
‘My parents had a mixed grazing property, so I was taught the value of hard work from a very early age’ says Belinda. Both her professional life and personal life have involved extensive participation and experience in rural issues, especially in the New England North West region. She has an ongoing commitment to rural Australia: ‘As a manager, welfare worker and mother, I see it as a priority to ensure that regional communities are supported and valued and that rural Australia is promoted in Australia and internationally.’ Belinda is currently Manager/Support Worker at Tamworth Family Support Service. |

Trish Milgate – Secretary
Ballina–Byron Family Centre
Trish has worked in the community welfare sector for over 15 years and specifically with families and children for over 10 years. She is now Manager of the Ballina–Byron Family Centre, which delivers a range of services to families and children in the Ballina and Byron LGAs. Before joining the Board, Trish was the regional representative for FamS member services on the Far North Coast for a number of years. |

Annette Tubnor - Treasurer
Newcastle Family Support Service
Annette has worked as a manager at Newcastle Family Support Services for 18 years. She has served on numerous local and state advisory groups over the years, acting as a voice for disadvantaged families. |

Ken Cahill
RPA Hospital
Ken is the Executive Director of Royal Prince Alfred Hospital a position he took up in 2009. Ken began his career in health at RPA as a radiographer in 1977 and was Chief Radiographer from 1990-1997. Ken has a wealth of Management experience including running Balmain, Ryde and Gosford Hospitals. Most recently he was the General Manager of the Central Coast Health service. |

Marnel LaGarde - Vice President MetroParramatta/Holroyd Family Support Inc
Marnel has been the manager of PHFS for over 20 years, starting as a social worker and becoming the manager of the service in 1986. The organisation has grown over the years, and in this time many new positions and programs have been established. Marnel loves working with small organisations. She has been a Regional Rep for Cumberland/Prospect for the past 10 years and has been on the FamS Board for the last seven years |

Danielle Scoullar - Vice President RuralIntereach
Danielle has been the team manager for Intereach, located in Deniliquin, for over five years. Before this, she worked in a variety of health industry related roles, including nursing and as a project manager with the Division of General Practice. For Danielle, the ability to meet the needs of the local community has been instrumental in many great outcomes for the families in and around Deniliquin |

Creating Links
Louise is filling a casual Board Vacancy. She has worked in the community sector for over 20 years in a wide range of management roles in both regional NSW and in the Sydney region. For the past five years Louise has been the CEO of Creating Links, which delivers a wide range of diverse services to families and children in the south west area of Sydney, mainly in Bankstown LGA. |
